General Principle. One does not need a specific proof to recite verses, supplications, invocations, or litanies, for which a general proof already exists. That is, it has already been established by means of general proofs, found in the Qur’an and Prophetic practice, that certain actions – reciting the Qur’an, supplicating to Allah 1. Confirmation of one's faith by one's words so that others hear that you believe in Allah, in His Prophet (PBUH&HF) and in the truth of all that he says and does. 2. Confirmation by one's acts; doing what is lawful, and abstaining from what is unlawful. 3. One of the 99 names of Allah in the Qur’an, which is not found in the Jewish tradition is Al Shakur— “The Appreciative One.”. There are several verses of the Qur’an which speak of God as “Allah has ninety-nine names, i.e. one-hundred (100) minus one, and whoever knows them will go to Paradise.” (Sahih Al-Bukhari) How to Memorize 99 Names of Allah? memorizing the 99 names of Allah will get us into Jannah, according to our prophet Muhammad (PBUH). That’s why we should encourage our children to memorize them at a very young age.
Allah has many more names but these are really the special ones. You can call allah (swt) the nice one, but its not one of the unique 99 that you should definitely be using in your dua'a Reply
The special name, Allah for Muslims and YHVH for Jews, differs from all the other names that are just philosophical terms for various universal aspects or important activities of God. This Divine name has a very intimate meaning for each religious community of believers; that is lacking in all the other names.
